Camp description: Sports & Enrichment for Kids at Lauralton Hall (CO-ED K-8th grade) is the place to be! Campers choose from a wide range of activities related to science, cooking, sports, art and much more. Popular sessions have included: Cupcake Wars!, Be Like Bluey, Around the World: Pirates Explorers, Theater Camp, and Kids with Canvas. And new this year, we are adding sessions on Robotics, Cartooning, and News at Lauralton. In addition, Summer@Lauralton also offers specialized sports camps for rising 5th through 9th grade girls. Camp description: Get in on the fun and learn America‘s fastest growing sport! Don‘t miss our kid‘s fun-filled, summer pickleball day-camp. Coaches lead kids through a variety of fun drills and games on-court to develop skills. Players will learn basics on strokes, scoring and rules. Ages 7-14. All equipment is provided. Camp description: Room 17 Math is excited to offer 3 summer opportunities that spread the joy of math, build confidence, and eliminate math phobia for children in Grades 1 – 5! In July, join us at one of our two beach camps for opportunities for walking field trips to local businesses, as well as both indoor and outdoor math games and problem solving experiences, some even at the beach!

Camp description:Our camps cover 30 hours of engaging activities that drive socialization, skill development, and passion. Our days balance the camp’s theme, education on healthy gaming habits, and regular screen breaks. While away from their screen, your child can be found taking walks, doing quick exercise drills, pausing for regular hydration, eating lunch outside, completing team building activities, or playing tabletop games. During the week, your kids will spend roughly half of their time away from the screen, being socially engaged, and fusing their passion for the digital world into peer-to-peer interactions, critical skill development, and new perspectives. Our camps are made possible and enhanced through the support of industry experts and our amazing partners at Post University’s Esports Department.

Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized youth soccer program for children ages 2–8 that focuses on fun, skill development, and character building. Through age-appropriate games and positive coaching, kids build confidence, coordination, and a love for the game in a safe, encouraging environment.

Description: Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras’ summer session provides the highest quality music education in a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Led by GCTYO teaching artists, musicians will learn and have fun with other kids who share their interest in music and performance. A typical day will include orchestra (including wind and percussion instruments), small group rehearsals, electives, and fun summer games.
