Quick and Delicious Homemade Waffle Hack

Ingredients:

  • Waffle maker (We recommend the Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker, affordable and efficient)
  • Waffle mix (Krusteaz offers great taste and value)
  • Eggs, oil, water (as per mix instructions)
  • Optional: Strawberries, blueberries, banana, or milk chocolate chips
  • PAM baking spray
  • Parchment paper (cut into squares for easy separation, 6×6-8×8 inches)
  • Storage container (Tupperware or Pyrex)

Instructions:

  • Follow the waffle mix recipe on the bag, incorporating eggs, oil, water, and the mix.
  • Enhance your waffles by adding your favorite ingredients like strawberries, blueberries, banana, or milk chocolate chips.
  • Grease the waffle maker with PAM baking spray.
  • Place parchment paper squares to simplify waffle separation when freezing.
  • Cook the waffles according to the mix instructions. Consider doubling the recipe for the week, but be cautious not to over-pour the batter.
  • Opt for a higher temperature setting (between 4-5) for optimal results.
  • Allow the waffles to cool, then separate them using parchment paper and freeze.
  • When ready to serve, toast the waffles in a toaster.
  • Your kiddos can enjoy the delicious waffles on their own or with a choice of toppings, such as syrup, Nutella, or peanut butter. The choice is yours—either way, they’re delightful!
